Where to even start! This couple, this concept, this location…everything from start to finish was a freaking DREAM!
Starting off, the Badlands National Park in South Dakota is just…mesmerizing. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend adding it to your list of places to see in your life.

The Shootout Society hosted one of their gorgeously amazing styled shoots last month in Badlands National Park and I knew the moment I read the description that I had to be there! This styled shoot was described as follows:
“If you’re an adventurous elopement photographer hoping to travel all over the country shooting intimate weddings this is for you. This styled bridal portrait session will feature breathtaking views of Badlands National Park.”
…like hey there this was a MUST!
The shoot was designed by the incredibly talented Wynter with Created by Wyn and boy if you ever need a planner and creative designer, she is your girl! This styled shoot was a little more minimal than most because the Badlands speak for themselves and provide such an immaculate backdrop you really don’t need much else. HOWEVER, the florals were the perfect touch to this elopement!
Sophie and Matt were the cutest dang couple around and I wish I could photograph them over and over because they were SO natural with each other and their love just encompassed everyone! Not to mention they were down to try just about anything that was asked of them!
This incredible shoot with forever be one of my favorite styled shoots. I am manifesting the fact that I will return to the Badlands for an elopement in my future!
